I’m John Maschinot, welcome to the Celtic Company website!

I’m a musician - I've been performing and teaching since the 1980s. I play uilleann pipes, Irish flute, tin whistle and bodhran. And, I love to collaborate with great musicians and dancers!

So I formed the Celtic Company way back in the last century as a means to present the many bands and productions that I’m involved with, as well as my work as a solo performer and teacher.

THE KINNIGANS

A four piece band of brilliant musicians that captures the vitality, verve, vim and vigor of the Irish music hall of the last century, The Kinnigans offer a delightful performance sure to get you out of your seat - or at the very least, tap your feet!

ENSEMBLE O'CAROLAN

Atlanta's Ensemble O'Carolan crosses the borders between Irish traditional and classical music. At home at an intimate wedding ceremony or on concert stage, Ensemble O’Carolan is equally equipped to raise the rafters at a party or reception with a host of foot-stomping traditional Irish jigs and reels.
